Spread-a-Bale Midi is one of our popular models and works well with round or big square bales alike. The standard body length allows it to take an 8ft long bale. The Midi is available with four different spreading systems as detailed below.

• Can handle round and square bales alike
• Maximum bale width 1.2m
• Maximum bale length 2.5m with standard twin rotor head or 2.485m with HR horizontal rotor head
• Midi is also available in an XL model which is 300mm longer allowing extra clearance for the bale length
• Spread pattern with HR is 1-2m wide with forward throw of 8 -15m depending on hydraulic flow available
• Spread pattern with standard twin vertical rotors 6-9m wide x 6-9m forward throw again flow dependant
• Horizontal Rotor system is ideal for long / deep pens where maximum throw distance is required
• Optional fold down feeder hood on horizontal rotor models allows feeding of haylage bales or bedding of very small pens such as calf or lambing pens.
• Optional Feed-a-Bale attachment available on standard twin vertical rotor models allows bedding of small pens or discharge of bales directly in to TMR feed mixers.
• End mount attachment brackets as standard with the option of single or double side-mount frame
• Spread-a-Bale also offer a MAXI model equipped with taller twin vertical rotors which allows bale heights of up to 1.3m with rectangular bales or 1.8m diameter with round bales.
